Michael and his brother did an amazing job on the pine floors in our 200-year old house! They were scratched, splattered with paint, and marred with water stains.  They now look beautiful!  The scratches and stains are gone and they simply glow in the sunshine.  The redone floors have transformed the rooms.  We highly recommend Refresh Floor Care and can attest to their skill at working with old, pine floors.

Refresh floor care met exceeded our expectations. Lee was very friendly and the work he and his son did made our nearly 90-year-old floors look wonderful! We were in a rush to get our floors done before moving in, and Lee came out on short notice to give us an estimate on Thursday, started work on Monday, and finished Tuesday! He explained every step of the process clearly. The buff and recoat was well worth it. The price was competitive with other companies who could not come out to do our floors for at least a month. He was also willing to give us quotes and stain samples if we chose to refinish the floors completely. Would recommend Refresh Floor Care to my friends.

Lee and his son Michael worked miracles on our old, stained, and beat up red oak hardwood floors! They were in very rough shape, with many water and pet stains. One room was even covered in tile glue. Now they look beautiful and almost better than brand new with a rustic charm. Lee was super accommodating and worked us into his busy schedule on short notice and finished the whole job in about 5 days! I would highly recommend these guys!

Just purchased and old farm house and found some wood floors under the old carpet. Not going to lie, the floors were in pretty rough shape. I contacted Refresh, and Lee came out that very day to take a look. Later that night, I had a quote in my inbox. Because of the Bona products he uses, I didn't even look anywhere else. The entire process was quick and easy, and communication was great throughout the entire process. The floors turned out AMAZING, and before Lee left I asked him to measure another room that will need refinishing. Again, quote in my inbox that very night. We recently purchased our first home. We hired Refresh Floor Care to refinish the hardwood floors throughout the first and second floors. The 100+ year old hardwood floors were in very rough shape from decades of neglect (water damage, pet stains, warping, and carpeting that absolutely reeked of mildew). We decided to refinish the floors but given the original state, we didn't have high hopes. Lee and Michael however did a fantastic job.

From our initial inquiry to completion, Lee was very responsive and knowledgeable. It can be uncomfortable having people working in your home but Lee and Michael were incredibly respectful and we felt no qualms about having them in our space. In addition, we needed to stay in the house during the process and Lee worked around our schedules to make sure we were able to do so. We knew we wanted a waterborne finish due to the faster dryer times and lower VOC content. Based on the research we did beforehand, we knew the product that Lee uses (Bona Traffic) is one of the best available.

As to the floors themselves, they look really beautiful. Lee and Michael's work repaired decades of mistreatment and enhanced the character and charm that was a big part of the reason we bought the house. When we couldn't decide between two stains, Lee was extremely helpful and went to the trouble of doing test patches.

There were a few spots where the damage was simply too deep to fully remove. From the beginning, Lee was upfront with us that if the darker stains went all the way through the floors, he would not be able to fully remove them. He suggested replacing the boards in these spots but that wasn't in our budget or timeline so we asked him to just do what he could. Considering the severity of the stains (as evidenced by the darkness, warping, and, in some cases, smell), we were surprised by how much Lee was able to improve the appearance of these spots and we're happy with how much of the damage he was able to completely remove.

We're really pleased with how our floors turned out and we'd recommend Refresh Floor Care to anyone looking to refinish or just refresh their floors.

I just moved in my new home, hired someone to refinish floors that left me high and dry, ruined the floors did not show up for two days, gave me the run around. I was beside myself. I went on the Home Advisor site desperate, who is going to be able to help me at a moments notice. Refresh Floor Care not only sent a text message, but followed through with a phone call, came over that night, gave me a quote, and even fitted me in between jobs.

 

I cannot begin to tell you the professional company they are! The workmanship is beyond words! Lee and his son Michael put in so much hard work and time into my floors as if they were doing their own home. Refresh Floor Care responded, they followed through, they were on the job, and communicated every day. Lee even went above and beyond to find me a stain that matched what I really wanted and had it shipped! My floors look absolutely spectacular. I would recommend Refresh Floor Care 1,000,000 times over and over again!!! I have before and after pictures galore!

My floors are stained in Bona Cocoa stain with Bona Semi Gloss Poly, which Lee was adamant about and stands behind the Bona brand. I am so glad because the stain color is gorgeous and the poly is designed for high traffic. My floors are going to look gorgeous for years to come!!! REFRESH FLOOR CARE!!! 1000% you will not regret it.

Refresh Floor Care refinished the bedroom hardwood floors in our 1910 Craftsman-Style house. They were quite worn and we wanted a new look. Lee was very quick about responding, came right over to meet with us and gave us a reasonable quote. The final outcome is beautiful, we love the stain color of the floors and the finish has just the right gloss. Lee and Micheal are great to work with, very knowledgeable and friendly.
